Improve "Add to diagram" check - do not prevent adding if one of the data sets is invalid/unavailable

Description

Currently, when one line in a diagram is invalid (Dataset missing), you cannot add any other data set, even though axes/data format matches.

Add a check that invalid/unavailable data sets are skipped from the test. Also, improve error message.
