Multi-year simulation data over leap years with datetime axis

Description
When showing multi-year simulation data, where all years are simulated as non-leap years, the post-processing will use real datetime and include leap days. Thus, there will be a day shift in the diagram.
Can the leap days be omitted in the postproc as well?
