Update failes when geometry file dissappears and reappears

Description

Updating a 3D from 4D color map does not work when in the first update the geometry file has dissappeared, then is restored and a second update is triggered.

-> since DataIO file hasn't changed, an update is prevented, keeping the invalid state.
